Project Nehemiah - January 22nd Update Copy

February 19, 2026 Update

So much is happening — and we’re grateful.

RHC family, we wanted to give you a more conversational snapshot of where things stand. There’s a lot of moving parts right now, but the momentum is real — and it’s encouraging.

Jeffco Rezoning
We’re nearing the finish line here. The final hearing with the Jefferson County Board of Commissioners is scheduled for March 10, 2026. This will be the last step in the rezoning process. Thank you for continuing to pray for favor and clarity as we approach that date.

Nehemiah Property Progress
This is where things are really taking shape.
Stage design, storage layout, kitchen planning, and sound system contracts are complete — and sound/lighting has been financed. Architectural plans are now at Revision 5, including the addition of a Warming Center component. It’s exciting to see these details coming together.
Our Youth Group is already using the theater lobby and Theater 3 — and it’s been great to see those spaces filled with life.

Kitchen
Lance and Darcy Reddit brought in a kitchen designer, and we’re currently on Revision 4 of the design. Even better — we’ve placed the purchase order for all appliances at excellent pricing and terms. That’s a big win.

Kids Area – Phase 1 (Suite 205)
This space is really progressing:
  • Carpet is installed
  • Paint is complete
  • Windows are on order
  • Signage is in process
This suite will include three offices, a kitchenette, and a common room.
We’ve completed five of six tenant meetings in February. A homeschooling group is currently looking at subleasing the Kids Area Monday–Friday, which could be a great fit.

Double Bay
A locking trash dumpster has been delivered (Code 7462 — if you ever need it!).
Shari Johannson (Total Neuro Solutions) will be sharing space with RHC and will move into Suite 206A once it’s complete.

Business as Mission (BAM)
We continue to see strong ministry-aligned partnerships forming:
Trailhead Christian Counseling (Dan Kail) will occupy Suite 206B (rent rate finalized).
The Thrift Store is currently sorting inventory in Theater 1 and will ultimately operate out of Theater 2.
And truly — Autumn’s leadership and experience in getting this off the ground has been incredible.

RHC Property Sale
Our current property is under contract for $1.75M, with a closing date of March 31 — though we’re hoping to move that earlier into March if possible.
We completed the walkthrough on 2/1 and agreed on inclusions. Appraisal, inspections, and environmental reviews are underway. We’ve asked the Armenian Church to consider moving the closing date forward, though we do anticipate they may try to renegotiate one more time.

MB Foundation
We’ve been approved for a $2.1 million loan through MB Foundation. This is a major provision and gives us strong footing as we move forward.

We are incredibly thankful for how each piece is coming together. From rezoning to renovations, partnerships to financing — this is a season of steady progress and clear direction.
Please continue praying for favor in the rezoning hearing, smooth negotiations on the property closing, and wisdom as we build spaces that will serve generations to come.
